Fatima Leghari is a Mental Health Counselor who works with individuals on a wide range of Mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, Academic difficulties, and interpersonal challenges. Fatima’s fundamental approach to therapy is based on client-centered concepts of unconditional Positive regard, genuineness, and full acceptance, along with the use of her deep empathy and Warmth. Fatima’s goal is to work collaboratively with clients to help them process their Experiences, increase awareness, and deepen their compassion for themselves. She believes in The uniqueness of each person and does not utilize a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, she Draws from various modalities such as Person-centered, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Strength-based approaches to personalize treatment. Fatima earned her BA in Psychology from The Ohio State University with a minor in Cultural Anthropology and master’s degree (MA & Ed.M.) in psychological sciences from Columbia University. Fatima is fluent in both Urdu and English.
