Mr. Fawad Shah

Fawad Shah is a Pakistani National, who has Bachelor Degree in Counselling Studies from New Zealand and 9 years of experience. Between 2011 to May 2018, he was working full time in Blenheim, New Zealand as Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Clinician. Over this period he worked with three Indigenous Health Services. Between June to Nov 2018, Fawad worked in Pakistan for Psychotherapy based Treatment Centre for Mental Health as their Rehab Incharge. From Feb 2019 to July 2019 he was employed as a Therapist in Thailand with an international rehabilitation centre, DARA Rehab. At present he is involved with a local NGO TeleGlobal Health Services here in Karachi as their consulting Specialist. Where on regular basis he delivers psycho- educational workshops/seminars on various topics. He has also gained experience in Guidance and Career Counselling, while working in high schools in Wellington, New Zealand. Fawad has extensive professional mental health counseling/therapy experience, working 1:1 with individuals, families and groups from various cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds in various settings. This experience extends over several years of professional counselling practice between New Zealand, Pakistan & Thailand.
