Temporomandibular joint dysfunction refers to the pain and dysfunction of the muscles the muscles that move the jaw. Symptoms include pain and tenderness on palpation in the muscles of mastication, limited range of Jaw movement, locking of the jaw, stiffness in the jaw, clicking noises from the joint, headaches and dizziness.
