Working as Assistant Professor at KMU-IMS, attached to DHQ, Hospital Kohat in Department of Psychiatry since 04th May 2019 till date. The nature of my job is to screen patients for Psychiatric illnesses such as depression, anxiety, and other disorders like Schizophrenia and bipolar affective disorder, etc and to treat them with Psycho-tropic medications as well as Psychotherapies/Counseling sessions especially Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also receive patients from young age group with different Psychological and Psychiatric problems like ADHD, conduct disorder, and Learning disabilities, etc. I also do counseling and treatment of individuals who come with Substance abuse disorders like Cannabis, opioid, and Benzodiazepines dependence. I have recently completed Universal Treatment Curriculum organized by UNODC Pakistan for drug counseling and rehabilitation and passed my ICAP-1 exam for counseling.
