How to use Clobederm Ointment 0.05%?

• Wash and dry the affected area before application
• Apply a thin layer of ointment once or twice daily as directed by your doctor
• Gently rub in until the ointment disappears, do not rub too hard
• Avoid covering the treated area with airtight bandages unless your doctor says otherwise
• Wash your hands after applying, unless the hands are the treated area
• Do not use for more than two consecutive weeks without medical review
• Do not exceed 50 grams of ointment in a week

Drug Interactions

• Other topical corticosteroids used on the same area can add to skin thinning risk
• Other topical medicines applied to the same site may change how much clobetasol the skin absorbs
• Oral or injectable corticosteroids used together may raise the chance of systemic steroid side effects
• No major interactions with routine oral medicines are expected when used correctly on small areas
