How to use Clobetrex cream?

• Apply a thin layer to the affected area once or twice daily, as directed.
• Do not use on the face or groin unless your doctor says so.
• Wash your hands after applying, unless treating your hands.
• Do not cover the area with a bandage unless instructed.

Drug Interactions

Clobetrex has few systemic interactions but can add to the effect of other topical products.

• Other steroid creams or ointments: Using together raises the risk of skin thinning.
• Other medicated skin products: Applying to the same area can increase irritation.

Risks and warnings

• Broken or infected skin: Avoid unless your doctor advises it.
• Duration limit: Do not use longer than the prescribed period, usually two to four weeks.
• Eyes and mucous membranes: Avoid contact completely.
