Dermosporin Cream Uses

Dermosporin cream is used to treat a wide range of fungal skin infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm, nappy rash, etc. It contains Clotrimazole, an antifungal agent belonging to the class of drugs called imidazoles. It works by preventing the growth of fungus and combats the cause of the fungal infection. Dermosporin cream is also effective in relieving the symptoms that accompany most skin infections such as itching, irritation, swelling, etc.

How to use Dermosporin Cream 20g?

• Wash your hands
• Clean and dry the area to be treated.
• Apply a thin layer of Dermosporin cream onto the affected area
• Apply enough cream to cover the affected area and some of the surrounding skin.
• Use Dermosporin cream on the skin only.
• Apply Dermosporin cream twice a day or as directed by your doctor.
• The dosage and length of treatment depends on the type of infection being treated.
• Do not apply the cream more often than prescribed.
• After applying Dermosporin cream, wash your hands
• Do not wrap, cover or bandage the area unless directed to do so by your doctor.
• Do not get the cream in the eyes, nose, mouth
• If the cream gets in your eyes, wash it immediately with water and inform your doctor
• If the cream is swallowed or ingested, go to the nearest hospital immediately
• Use it regularly to get the most benefit from it usually for a period of
