Gynosporin Tablet Uses

Gynosporin tablet is used for the treatment of vaginal yeast infections in women. It contains Clotrimazole, an antifungal agent belonging to the class of drugs called imidazoles. It works by preventing the growth of fungus and combats the cause of the fungal infection. A vaginal yeast infection (vaginal candidiasis) can cause irritation, itching, or discharge from the vagina and vulva. These infections are quite common and affect up to 3 out of 4 women at some point of time in their life. It is important to note that Gynosporin tablet is only effective against vaginal yeast infections and won't work against vaginal bacterial infections.
