How to use Latim drops 0.01%?
- One drop in the affected eye or eyes once daily, usually in the evening, works for most patients.
- Clean hands and a tilted head help the drop land correctly without touching the dropper tip to the eye.
- Gentle pressure on the inner corner of the eye for a minute after each dose limits drainage into the nose and reduces systemic absorption.
- A gap of at least five minutes is needed if another eye drop is also prescribed.
Drug Interactions
- Other prostaglandin eye drops: Using more than one prostaglandin analog together does not add extra benefit and can raise the risk of side effects.
- Preserved eye drops: Certain other preserved eye drops used together can cause precipitation, so a spacing gap is recommended.
- Other eye medicines: A five minute gap between different eye drops prevents one from washing out the other.
Risks and warnings
