How to use Novodol tablet 0.15mg / 0.03mg?

• One tablet daily at about the same time, starting on day 1 of the period unless advised otherwise.
• Take 21 white tablets first, then 7 brown iron tablets, and start the next strip the following day.
• Follow the arrows on the strip and do not take a break between strips.
• If a tablet is missed, follow the leaflet or ask the doctor or pharmacist.

Drug Interactions

• Rifampicin: It can reduce the pill's effect, so extra contraception is needed.
• Carbamazepine, phenytoin and topiramate: These seizure medicines can make the pill less reliable.
• St John's wort: This herbal product can lower hormone levels and cause breakthrough bleeding.
• Some HIV and antifungal medicines: Certain antiretrovirals and griseofulvin may change the pill's effect.
