Cancer Patient Diet

Asked for Male, 39 years

Need some guidance for a protein deficient buccal mucosa cancer patient's diet. He's having blood infection and low Hb. Unfortunately, the blood can't be transfused. He is unable to eat because he has no teeth; he can only drink. Please guide/refer me a good balanced diet plan for him. He's severally ill and can't visit any Nutritionist.

Dear Patient,

For low iron these are some foods he can ask his primary doc and consume in paste form:
Dark green
Leafy vegetables
Sweet potatoes
Prunes and raisins
Dried apricots and peaches
Beans
Meat and fish
Enriched bread, cereal, and pasta
Lentil soup of any two pulses (daal) gives same amount of nutrition as meat. You could supplement him with that.
