Chemotherapy

My mother had a stone in gallbladder & that stones made a tumor & tumor has to blast you can say with gallbladder & now cancer has spread in liver & according to doctor its last stage. My mother is weak & age 60. Question is that can she bear chemotherapy as its doses are a high & 2nd thing now what are the solutions Is there radiation therapy will be useful from Jinnah hospital Karachi & I listened to the cannabis oil for the treatment of cancer.

Dear Patient,

Firstly there are many institutes in KHI like aga khan, jmpc, Kiran foundation etc to deal with oncology cases. Secondly I can imagine how weak and old your mother must be, still an oncologist will only proceed with chemo or radiation if the patient meets certain health criteria and if the benefits outweigh the risk of treatment. Thirdly cannabis is used to help manage pain related to cancer but more information can only be gained by someone currently working with it. I would advise you to take a second opinion with an oncologist if need be.
