My baby boy is 2. 5 months old and since his birth, my periods are not coming and Dr. said it will not come for a few more months as I am feeding. My question is, can I still conceive even periods are not coming as I had unprotected intercourse recent while?

Dear Patient,

Yes, you can. This is called lactational amenorrhea and it means that cause you're nursing you are not having periods. But it means you are still fertile and capable of conceiving right now even MORE than usual, that is why the people have kids 10 months apart so be careful and use contraception.
