Glucose Levels

Fasting glucose levels are not coming down to the range of 70-90 despite taking 1000gm Glucophage at dinner and insulin at bedtime. Just having home cooked meal with controlled portions. No junk no heavy meals. Please tell me what is going wrong.

Do you walk regularly? How long do you walk for? How long has it been since you have been diagnosed with diabetes and how long has it been since you are taking this high dose? How long have you been eating cautiously since? If it's been a couple of weeks, give yourself time and continue this. If it's been some months kindly visit a diabetologist and a nutritionist for medicine and diet adjustment.
