Herpes question

So I've met a girl who I really like, but she has herpes and I dont. For obvious reasons, I really don't want an STD. She takes medication for it and we always use a condom, but I don't know how high the risk is that I will catch it. What do you think the chances are that I will catch it if I stay with her? Dear Patient,

I'm sorry to hear that. To avoid any unpleasant results, you can make sure to use condoms and dental dams to avoid transmittance through anal, oral and vaginal sex. She can be regular with her medicines. Avoid kissing when sores break out or touching sores as it can spread herpes. If you touch it wash hands thoroughly with soap and water. Condoms cannot at times cover the whole area of sore and contact may spread infection. Using condoms cannot control but can help lower risk infection. Ask your partner to look out for signs of an ongoing outbreak like burning tingling etc and avoid intercourse during the scabs form and fall off.
