Hyperthyroidism Medicine

I have hypothyroidism and its under control now. Doc prescribed me to take 75mcg of thyroxine. Now the place I live in doesn't have 75 or 25 mcg alone. In order to maintain the dose can I take 50mcg and 100mcg alternatively?

Dear Patient,

I'm sorry to hear that. That does make sense but ideally, it should be the exact levothyroxine dose daily at exactly the same time for it to be effective and for you to experience minimal side effects.
Kindly either call your own endocrinologist for dose adjustment or find the exact dose even if its far from where you live.
