Low Grade Fever

My sister is suffering from fever from the last one year. Her eyes start to burn and her mind gets numb. She feels better after having dinner. Every day she gets depressed, anxious and stays tired. The fever is low grade and happens twice a month. What could be the reason? What tests should be conducted?
