During certain stages of pregnancy back pain is expected and it is cramp-like as the fetus and the uterus adjusts to each other. Advise her to avoid wearing heels, carry excess weight, any strenuous activity, climb an unnecessary number of stairs. Rest as much as possible till she feels better, then go back to rotuine activities.
