13 weeks pregnant. Dr. has given me u.progest and after taking 1st dose before sleeping, i almost fainted in the morning was extremely dizzy and suddenly face clear water discharge.should i continue the medicine or not??

Dear Patient,

Progestrone is a normal hormone released in pregnancy. Even in the natural amounts it can widen the blood vessels- decrease the blood flow- and hence cause fainting n dizziness.
Taken as tablet it may be causing this effect or it could be some other problem. You should temporarily withhold the medicine and meet your doctor to ask for possible side effects and danger signs that mean you should stop the medicine.
