Im not sure what you are trying to say about the timing of your bleed- is this the bleed right after delivering and its day 3 of THAT bleed, so your first bleed after child? Or have your 40 days finished and this is the first time you are spotting after that- so like your second period after child?
Regardless if your bleeding isnt a lot its okay, just take your iron supplements daily and make sure you do not develop anemia. After a few cycles your bleeding will be normal. Have you considered any contraceptive method?
