Nose bleed

Dear Patient,

Minor amounts of nose bleed may occur due to dryness or habitually from healthy people’s nose and is nothing to worry about. Its best to not even check with a tissue or any object at all. When your nose bleeds you can run ice cold water through the nostrils or lie down flat on the bed with head hanging from the side of the bed so as to let the blood flow down your throat. You may also pinch your nose firmly for ten minutes. If this doesn't stop bleeding or there is excessive bleeding which is free flowing you may consult with your gynecologist.
