Pancreatic Cancer

My father in law has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last stage (no treatment is possible) Been 3month we got to know about his disease after ergo for jaundice. Now he is diagnosed with hernia which needs to be operated as soon as possible. Does pancreatic cancer has some connection with hernia? I want to know is their is any connection between these two? Pancreatic cancer and hernia?

Dear Patient,

A hernia is the outcome of a weak boundary of the body. Anywhere there is poor musculature of the body a hole is created and the internal contents pour out and need to be pushed back in and the defect is fixed.
What type/where is the hernia located? In usual cases, though, Pancreatic cancer doesn't have a correlation with a hernia.
