Severe Cough

My almost 5 year old daughter having cough problem it's start with blocked nose sneezing snoring and then cough I consulted so many docs. X-ray is clear all said allergy problem. Switch one medicine to another. I am tired of it. They repeat antibiotics every 20 days and this issue starts in September. she just remains fine 5 days and again sick and the main cause is a cough that is unbearable. Please guide me on what to do to whom I should consult. what to give.

Dear Patient,

Without fever, such frequent use of antibiotics is extremely harmful. Every year in Sept/Oct you should get your child vaccinated against flu starting from next year. Avoid cold, sour and fried foods as much as possible. Avoid junk foods especially candies. You can give her one tablet myteka 4mg every day once a day for 6-8 weeks. This will settle down her allergies. If the issue isn't settling you should meet a specialist.
