Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Kango; (Born 1965). After acquiring his MBBS in 1988 from Rawalpindi Medical College Rawalpindi he completed his Internship & Residency at FGSH/PIMS Islamabad &JPMC Karachi. He proceeded for training in Cardiology at Hammersmith Hospital London and NHLI ( National Heart and Lung Institute) London. Later he joined Pakistan Army Medical Corps. He completed 4 years training in interventional Cardiology at AFIC/NIHD (Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology) and 5 years training in Internal Medicine at various hospitals in Medical Corps. He was awarded fellowship (FCPS) by college of Physicians and surgeons of Pakistan (FCPS) . He also acquired postgraduate diploma in cardiology from Royal Postgraduate Medical School & University of London. He holds MCPS from CP&SP Pakistan. He is an academician with vast teaching experience at under and postgraduate level. He is Associate Professor in Medicine and remained actively involved in teaching MBBS students. He is CPSP registered supervisor for FCPS in internal Medicine. His FCPS trained fellows are working all over Pakistan and out of Pakistan. He has served in Pakistan Army Medical Corps as Lieutenant Colonel. He has presented multiple papers and won awards in conferences. He has multiple research publications to his credit. He is member of review boards and remained at editorial boards of various Peer Reviewed Medical Journals. He has special interest in Cardiology, Endocrinology, Diabetes and Auto immune disorders. He holds professional membership of American Diabetic Association.
