How to use Glucoride Tablet 4mg?

• Adults: starting dose is 1 to 2 mg once daily with breakfast or the first main meal.
• Dose is raised by 1 to 2 mg every 1 to 2 weeks, up to 8 mg daily. The usual maintenance dose is 4 mg.
• Swallow whole with water and do not skip the meal after the tablet.
• If a dose is missed, do not double the next dose.

Drug Interactions

• Fluconazole and miconazole: They can raise glimepiride levels and cause low sugar.
• Co-Trimoxazole and sulfonamides: They can increase the sugar lowering effect.
• NSAIDs and aspirin: They may add to the risk of hypoglycemia.
• Beta blockers: They may hide warning signs of low sugar such as fast heartbeat.
