Bad Temper

I need your help. My nephew is 9 years old and a studies in 4th grade of Punjab School. He’s been acting weird ever since his new classes have started. He doesn’t want to join in and attend his classes. He demands to get his institute changed and doesn’t listen to any of us. He’s a really good student overall. He’s never have acted this way before and we are all very worried about it all.

Dear Patient,

There could be a number of reasons why a good student and a normal healthy adult is behaving this way.
The number one thing to consider is some kind of sexual harassment or assault. In the presence of such its very likely that a child makes such a statement rather than withdraws. Sex Education is important and is best done with a psychologist who can clearly and openly talk abt these things. Screaming yelling forcing the child will harm him a lot in the future.

There could be other reasons as well as peer pressure or excessively strict teachers or mean peers.
