Frequent urination

I am on Hairfin 1mg for the past three years.6 mo ago, I started getting an urge to urinate more frequently and feeling my bladder full. The symptoms lasted for 2 weeks and then went away. A mo ago, I started having the same symptoms. There are no issues with the stream. But the feeling is just annoying and it hard to sleep with this strange feeling.doctor gave me Xanax and said I have irritable bladder. I am noticing the issue slowly dissapearing. All urine analysis and STD tests are ok. Help

Dear Patient,

Hairfin is used to treat the prostate gland as well as balding. Which problem are you using t for? Has the condition improved? Can you consider asking your doctor to stop/change this medicine?
Do you feel excessively thirsty or hungry? If so get a fasting blood sugar tested. If don't test it.
Inc urination isn't associated with hairfin as such but a longterm use of this drug has several concerning side effects. Maybe you can revisit your doctor n consult change of medicine. Please share all your test reports with him. Consider meeting a urologist for detailed workup.
