headache, blurred vision and numbness

My daughter yesterday told of a really bad headache and blurred vision with numbness in her arm. I gave her Brufen, she vomited after and said she felt better. Today she said it was even worse. I took her to Hospital. After arriving she had a numb arm and right side of face. She could not talk properly.They gave CODEINE PLUS. The nurse asked her questions and she was not able to answer them properly. She seemed confused. they diagnosd her viral sinusitis. i fear it may be wrong. Please help

Dear Patient,

How long did the headache last each time? Did she get back to normal after it or no? Did the episodes repeat? Does she have symptoms of flu/cough/ cold/fever?
I believe some kind of imaging should have been done immediately.
In the case of another such episode please take her to emergency dept of a hospital and ask for a neurologist consult- they may turn you away but if you choose to pay for it and demand one they can't stop you.
You could even visit one right now if symptoms persist but often these are one time episodes n hence doctors don't entertain once symptoms settle.
