Pain and Numbness

Feeling numbness & slight pain in left arm & in the pinky & ring finger, it was severe in the night while sleeping, laid straight when got up, no other sign just little discomfort in the left side body. No Medical history, just little stomach upset from last two days, wanna ask what it could be, ignore-able or required a checkup?
