Pain in lower legs

I am 33 years old. I have a severe type of pain in my both lower legs. from a very long time. Someone has told me that its because of iron deficiency. Can I take any type of iron tablets or injections without a doctor prescription?

Dear Patient,

It is likely this is due to Vitamin D deficiency. You can take one capsule sunny D 5000 IU today, one after two weeks and the third capsule after two more weeks. Along with this, you should take one tablet Cac-1000 once daily for 4-6weeks to help with pain. If you feel you have low iron just test your Blood Hemoglobin levels only and your treatment can be accordingly.
