Severe Headaches

Im having severe headache since months. I was prescribed Merol by a neurologist and i took it for nearly a month but i think it didnt suit me and made my bp really low as i fainted 2 days ago and fell. Completely lost consciousness. Stopped taking it and feel better but the headache is still there and i feel very weak. Help please!

Dear Patient,

Merol isn't for headaches its for blood pressure. Is your BP usually high? Have you been a known case of hypertension? If so then your medication will need to be adjusted, otherwise, it should be stopped or it will keep lowering your BP and you will faint.
For your headache, we recommend you meet a good medical specialist who can find out the cause of this. Painkillers are a temporary solution but headache could be due to poor vision, stress, migraine, blocked sinus, etc. Kindly search for one on our main page.
