Tremors in hands

I am a first year BDS student. I have tremors in my hands whenever I apply force or hold an object with some pressure. I want to become an oral and maxillofacial surgeon or orthodontics.which requires steady hands. How can the tremors be reduced?

Is it associated with any weakness/numbness/sensations anywhere in the body? Does anything make it better or worse like rest? Does anyone in your family have it?
