Weak Health

I wanted some professional opinion on my son. He's 5 yrs 2 months, his height is 3 ft 7 inches approx but his weight is only 16 kgs. Although mashallah he is very active and normal, he looks underweight and his bone structure is very thin as well. Moreover, he was recently diagnosed with weak eyesight as well (-3.5). Can anyone please guide if this is normal and what should be done to rectify if there is an issue. Thankyou

Dear Patient,

I'm sorry to hear that. What's the reason for weak eyesight? Is it genetic or there's too much screen time ? Limit it completely to atleast slow down further damage.
As far as his bone structure is concerned is it again genetic? What is his diet like? Make sure to include eggs, dairy, fruits and vegetables and decrease junk foods in his variety. These will help. And enroll him in swimming and basketball.
