Some one suggested me to drink ginger tea for wieght loss. I don't want to loose weight fast but I really want to know is ginger tea healthy to drink? Please tell

Dear Patient,

There is no shortcut to losing weight. Foods rich in antioxidants like ginger can help increase metabolism and hence cut down weight but taking it excessively will cause stomachache, motions, etc and isn't recommended.
Eat smaller portions with more fruits, veggies, dairy and protein and lots of water. The new keto diet is also good. But you need to make sure to include some physical activity in your routine to speed up your weight loss. A dietitian can give you a detailed diet plan according to your BMI.
