Currently she is Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychiatry, Dow University of Health Sciences/ Dr. Ruth K.M. Paul Civil Hospital Karachi and General Secretary of the Pakistan Association for Mental Health. She received her M.B.B.S degree from Sindh Medical College and completed her FCPS training in Psychiatry from the renowned Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.
