Prof. Dr. Saqib Siddiq is a well-known Gynecologist, Obstetrician & IVF Consultant
in Lahore. He is one of the pioneers of IVF treatment in Pakistan, which was
introduced in 1989. He then established the ICSI treatment for the first time in
Pakistan. Along with Saqib Fertility & IVF Centre, he is also responsible for setting
up the first IVF center in Bangladesh.
With his untiring efforts, sincerity with the profession and grace of Allah Almighty,
a large number of couples have been blessed with the bounties of parenthood,
quantifying remarkable success and birth rates.
Qualifications
Prof. Dr. Saqib Siddiq is a highly qualified gynecologist with numerous
qualifications and degrees. He is an MBBS who has also attained an MCPS (Gyne)
& MS (Obgyn).
Dr. Saqib is a PMDC (Now PMC) Registered professional who has an exceptional
academic career and has used his immense knowledge & expertise for the benefit
of the Pakistani audience.
Experience
Prof. Dr. Saqib Siddiq has an impressive 38 years of experience under his belt and
is an expert in his field. He is currently offering consultations to patients at Mid
City Hospital and also at Saqib IVF Center, both of which are state of the art
medical facilities founded by Dr. Saqib himself and are located in Lahore.
In the past, he has served as Head of Department Obstetrics at Gymkhana PGMI
& Lahore General Hospital. He has also worked in Allama Iqbal Medical College &
Jinnah Hospital as an Associate & Assistant Professor of Obstetrics &
Gynaecology.
Prof. Saqib Siddiq has served the Government of Punjab for More than 30 Years in
the Health Department & Retired as Head of Department & Professor of
Obstetrics & Gynaecology, in Grade 20, Services Institute of Medical Sciences
(SIMS) & Services Hospital.
After Retiring from Government Service, he also worked as Head of Department &
Prof. Of Obstetrics & Gynaecology Akhtar Saeed Medical College, for 7/8 Years.
He has performed numerous senior-level roles working in different medical
institutions across Pakistan and is one of the most decorated figures in the field of
gynecology.

Saqib Siddiq has a proactive approach when it comes to raising awareness
regarding female reproductive issues and women’s health. He is an accomplished
researcher, writer, public speaker & professional in the field who is active on
multiple platforms and raises his voice on every available forum to educate the
general population.
Dr. Saqib is also an illustrious media personality and a number of his Interviews &
videos are available on electronic & social media for anyone seeking expert
guidance.
In a video available online, he speaks about the issue of infertility in women,
which is affecting around 20% of the population. He further discussed the
complications of Infertility and the relevant measures that can be taken to
achieve success while conceiving a child. The doctor advised that consulting a

Prof. Dr. Saqib Siddiq has many areas of expertise due to his vast experience but
he has a special interest in the treatment of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). In
