About Dr. Athar Iqbal
I graduated from Baqai Medical University in 2005 from Karachi. For post graduation I started working in Lahore at Sheikh Zayed Hospital and completed by post graduation in Neurology in 2014 . During this period I had experience in Neurology working at Mayo hospital Lahore as well. Later in 2016 I got the opportunity to move to United Kingdom for Fellowship in Stroke Medicine. During my experience in United Kingdom I had opportunity to learn and upgrade my capacity on state of the art modern stroke management in one of the leading stroke units in United Kingdom. Neuro radiology skills were brushed up and learned the key principles of geriatric medicine as an area of my special interest. I believe that I have been very fortunate to have trained in some of the best places and as a consequence I enjoy dealing with all aspects of the subject.
