How to use Normisar tablet 40mg?
- Take one tablet by mouth once daily, with or without food.
- Take it at the same time every day for steady blood pressure control.
- Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
- Do not stop taking it suddenly without consulting your doctor.
- It may take two to four weeks to feel the full effect.
Drug Interactions
Tell the doctor about all current medicines before starting Normisar tablet.
- Other blood pressure medicines: Can increase the blood pressure lowering effect too much.
- NSAIDs like ibuprofen or naproxen: May reduce the effect and affect kidney function.
- Potassium sparing diuretics or supplements: Raises the risk of high potassium levels.
- Lithium: Can increase lithium levels in the blood to unsafe amounts.
