Dr. Anjum Ara Hasan is a highly admired Gynecologist in Karachi with over 21 years of experience. She is currently working at Hamdard University Hospital. She also spoke about pre-conceptional genetic counseling where couples are told that the woman must take folic acid to aid the future health of the fetus and to avoid neural tube defects. They are also given other advice so that they have a healthy conception when they wish to have children.
