Dr. Humera did her MBBS from Khyber Medical College, Peshawar, where she maintained her academic record and received Merit Scholarship throughout her course of study. After her internship, she proceeded to Ireland in 1996 for further studies. She received training in medicine at the Regional General Hospital, Limerick and became member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in February 1999.
