Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akbar Malik is a highly experienced *Child Specialist, Paediatric Neurologist and Clinical Neurophysiologist with several decades of clinical, academic, teaching and research experience. He is one of Pakistan's pioneering specialists in Paediatric Neurology, Epilepsy, Autism, EEG, EMG/NCS and Neuromuscular Medicine. Prof. Dr. Akbar Malik is the former Head of Department (HOD) at The Children's Hospital & Institute of Child Health, Lahore, and Sheikh Zayed Hospital, Lahore. He has received extensive international training in Paediatric Neurology, Epilepsy, Clinical Neurophysiology, Electromyography and Neuromuscular Medicine, including a Paediatric Neurology Fellowship in Bristol, United Kingdom, as well as advanced training and academic exposure at Harvard Medical School, USA, including Child Neurology.
