Dr. Shahzaib M. Khan

Dr. Shahzaib Khan is an American trained pediatrician and one of the best child specialists based out of Karachi. He is well versed in the management of multiple issues of newborns, infants, younger children and teenagers. Qualification: Dr. Shahzaib completed his MBBS from Ziauddin University and completed his postgraduate training from Sinai Hospital in the United States. He has also completed a post doctoral fellowship from National Institute of Health (USA). Experience: Dr. Shahzaib has had 8 years of experience in treating pediatric conditions which has spanned across both Pakistan as well as in the United States, where he has spent several years training and being involved with research. He has treated a wide range of conditions including asthma, allergies, pneumonia, autism, amongst other. He caters to the well-being of children and conducts what he calls ‘well child evaluations’, where he completes weight evaluation plus vaccinations and consults for developmental, behavioral, nutrition and sleep related matters. He also has sufficient expertise in dealing with more complicated cases such as seizures, meningitis, stomach bleeds, diabetes, care of premature infants amongst others. Special Interest: Dr. Shahzaib has a special interest in newborn care, assessment of infant and child nutrition and development according to age appropriate milestones. He also has a keen interest in respiratory diseases such as asthma, allergies and pneumonia.
